The Settlers’ Gazette Thanks Sharon Combs

You may have noticed a slight new look to the layout to the June, 2009 issue of the Settlers’ Gazette. After four years of diligent and meticulous attention to detail in laying out and editing the newsletter, Sharon Combs has resigned the post due to an increased workload in taking a position with a new employer.

Sharon and her husband Les Combs have volunteered to continue to help in other ways with the activities of the THL. The work load of producing six newsletters a year has been time consuming on her part and we owe her a big Thank You for all the hours spent over the past four years in helping to keep our members and other organizations informed on our events and projects!

Comments and Suggestions?

Carol Cunningham, your new layout editor for the Settlers' Gazette, has based the look of the newsletter on the previous one. She welcomes correspondence and any submissions or ideas for stories from our members.

You may mail items to
Tehachapi Heritage League
P.O. Box 54

or email Carol Cunningham.
